MEMOSTORY

The objective of this dynamic, colourful site is to foster the exchange of information between family and community memories using new technology.

Memostory was set up by Médialect with the assistance the Studio créatif of France Telecom R&D, the Mayenne region Archives, Radio bleue Mayenne, local genealogists and the Laval Ecole supérieure informatique (IT College).

Memostory gives access to information on Mayenne’s cultural and local inheritance via its history, famous people, walks through the region and current exhibitions.

In addition, anyone can make a contribution to add to the "collective memory" and find family information since the site is also a real genealogical research guide.

The evolution to a highly digital world makes everything more accessible, but not for everyone. Difficulties in accessing virtual and digital data makes the physically handicapped, the blind or deaf even more isolated.

The Ocawa.com Internet site now offers tools to control and analyse web access. The OCAWA application analyses HTML type files in order to build up an audit report on the elements that restrict their access to people with limited perceptive and cognitive capacities. The files are analysed according to three types of rules, notably France Telecom R&D’s EASYCAP rules.

The Studio créatif of France Telecom R&D takes an active part in the research into this outstanding project and invites you to have a look at the Ocawa.com site and its associated links.

In each section, "Communicating Clothing", "The Imagination Gallery", the "Sensible House" or "e-tourism", you will discover the services that we have imagined for your everyday life in the future – five or ten years ahead.

TERNOVA.COM

The Ternova.com portal is for elected members or staff of regional or local councils.

Designed by France Telecom Local Authorities Department, with the assistance of the Studio créatif, it gives Local Authority staff the means to better serve their community.

Browsing is simple and information is easy to find since the portal is organised by topic: politics, safety, inter-district co-operation, the environment, Europe, local development, communications, new IT technologies, careers and jobs.

And by specific sections: news, local initiatives, features, services and documents, the online expert and going further.
