Remote access is a domestic Extranet. If you are away from home, you can access your virtual assistants via the Internet and find out what is happening at home.

The "hostess" handles all the calls, electronic mail service, video messages and telephone answering machine messages.
The "caretaker" handles overall surveillance of your home. He can activate presence simulation: open shutters, switch on the light and radio.

The "technician" handles the simple home systems. On request, he adjusts the temperature of various rooms, closes the shutters, programmes background music or records a television programme or film.
You can also keep in touch with your family by interactive conversations over the visiophone using webcams installed in your home. Of course, you must be able to disconnect these services and avoid the "Big Brother" syndrome. Surveillance and traceability can become distressing if you can't get away from them.

 

All these services are developed in the "Studio créatif" laboratories and demonstrations, in collaboration with industrial partners.
