Dave and Barbara, British wine-lovers, used
the Tourism Portal to organize their long week-end in France:
- We simply had to see our friends in Dijon and the idea of a short trip to
Burgundy and its vineyards was really tempting. We received a proposition,
in English and in 3-D, for tours visiting the Beaunes wine-cellars and in
particular a warning message: "Forget your car, very busy weekend forecast
on the roads". So we opted for the combined train and car rental offer
without overrunning our budget.
As for Tommy, Bram and Milka, all three snowboard freaks, they wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve in the Alps:

Elke, a hip young girl from Berlin who will be spending
two nights in Paris, appreciates the simultaneous translation and visualization
of venues, their mood and atmosphere.
«I don't speak English or French, but I found a little hotel close to Le Marais and Bastille areas via the portal, with the help of the simultaneous translation and multi-criteria selection (plus de gras) facility en naviguant sur la carte de Paris (gras). At the same time, I used the portal's webcams to view the area's night-life, the proximity of "in" nightclubs and the décor of bars and cafés. Just perfect for a night-owl like me..
Martina was dreaming of real family holidays in the French countryside:
